Can you lend a hand at our September event? We are clearing the banks of the Brooklyn Creek to assist in the riparian work currently taking place at Birkdale Farm. We have removed most of the invasive plants but there is still some clean up to do to make room for native plants and trees, which will be planted this fall.
Come and lend a hand, and watch the next phase of creek restoration in progress. Meeting place is Birkdale Farm (there is parking on the street). Tools and excellent company are provided, bring water and gloves if you have. 1836 Guthrie Rd, Comox, on Sept. 3, Thursday, 8:30 – 11:30 am.
