Join the Brooklyn Creek Clean-Up Crew This Thursday! 🌿
We are getting so incredibly close to finishing this long section of the creek, and we need your energy to help us make that final push! Thanks to our amazing community, we’ve cleared out the bulk of the invasive plants dominating the banks. Now, we just need a final tidy-up to make room for the native trees and shrubs being planted this fall.
I am hoping you are able to come out this Thursday, Sept. 24 for two hours of pulling, chit chat, fresh air, and exercise—how can you resist that? By lending a hand, you’re directly helping to stabilize the stream, build a vibrant eco-corridor, and create vital habitats for local salmon. Plus, the weather looks like it will cooperate once again for a beautiful morning outdoors.

Where: Birkdale Farm (1836 Guthrie Rd, Comox) 📍
Meeting Spot: Please meet at the farm gate as usual at 9:00 AM.
Parking: Convenient, free parking is available right on the street.
What to Bring: Bring a water bottle and your favorite pair of work gloves.
What We Provide: All necessary tools and excellent company!
