INVASIVE PLANT REMOVAL
We are looking to get ahead of the invasive plants establishing and seeding at Birkdale Farm in Comox this spring and are hoping to have up to 8 volunteers join and help. This would involve digging primarily common tansy, blackberry and thistles out of the soft dirt and helping wheelbarrow the plants to a nearby landscape trailer. This would involve repeated bending and kneeling. Gloves and long sleeves would be necessary. If volunteers have their own trowel or shovel that would be helpful to bring as well. Volunteers can come for the whole shift or just a portion, please specify.

If you are available April 11th (Thursday) 9:30-12:30, please email Alan Pattinson
alan@brooklyncreek.ca with your name and if you are available the whole morning. We will take 8 responses; all will be answered.

There will be another invasive removal event in May. Thank you for your help!
