Thank you for volunteering to help with the Brooklyn Creek Watershed Society!

We have a project coming up from August 30 to September 19 (tentatively). Another project (planting) is scheduled later, in October which will be discussed later.

Please read the Volunteer Schedule with your name possibly listed on a certain date. This time we only requested up to last names starting with “A” to “N”. If you are NOT available on your date, please send me an email right away (comox@shaw.ca) and I will fill the slot with another person.

1) Volunteers are always welcome to join regardless of their physical abilities. We are happy for the company even if they would like to remain in a lawn chair on the banks and be involved that way if that is all they have to offer at this time.

2) This schedule is tentative, I may send up an updated version once we kick off on the 6th and I have a better idea of requirements.
|
3) We are hoping to have an inventory of everyone to be on site for any given day the night before. We would like to avoid having people showing up without notice to the site as there is a gate and it is private property with machines working about. We will move onto the farm as a group.

What to wear? Rubber boots or waders, sturdy shoes may be OK, work gloves, weather protection.
|
